okay, seasons in anime are generally 13 episodes long right? There are a lot of 13 or 26 episode animes that demonstrate this and a little research on wikipedia agrees Why is it then that animes never seem to follow this pattern if they have 50-ish episodes? I've never seen a 39 episode (3 season) anime. I can't think of any 52 episode animes either. There are several with 50 of 51 episodes but not 52 Well, some research on anidb.net hasn't helped my curiosity attack at all. There are 43 and 52 ep animes, but there's not much of a correlation really. There are only marginally more of those that there are 38, 40, 51, or 53 ep animes, and once you go above the 50s all season correlation is out (I did notice that the longest running anime has over 1.7k eps and averages over 60 eps per year on air =O) Why are there so many 1-2 season animes that conform to the 13 ep season tradition but so few after 2 seasons? My curiosity is painful sometimes >.< heh, after all that research, my BT client is full of stuff again. I should stop researching all these interesting things XD
