OverClocked ReMix is at it again! This time, a few of the OCR remixers have released a new VGM remix album of Final Fantasy VII, entitled Voices of the Lifestream! It has been in production for over a year and a half. According to Andrew Aversa, the project coordinator of the VotL project, this album features a variety of styles, such as jazz, orchestra, rock, new age, trance, breakbeat, drum n' bass, solo piano, etc. Apparently, there are a lot of tracks as well, as there are around 38 (ED: there's actually 45!) tracks spread across four CDs! They are distributing the soundtrack in two formats, MP3 (for those that are space-conscious) and WAV (for lossless freaks and audiophiles). You can check out the website for Voices of the Lifestream here: ff7.ocremix.org/There is also a torrent available, which is all the album music (both in MP3 and WAV format) and album art. It is pretty hefty, weighing at 2.32 GB in size. You can also download the tracks individually at their website, if you don't want to download the entire album.

But why can't they finish the Tales remix project? T.T
/wah
I want my Summoning of Spirits. Those samples they released months ago must have been to taunt me. I must resist the temptation to listen to them obsessively x.x
edit: WAV and MP3? blech. Just gimme FLAC please. Are they trying to get me to buy yet another HD? I guess I'll just do my tweaks after I finish seeding it...

Yeah, I wished they had offered a FLAC version as well. After I finish downloading all the WAV tracks, I'm going to encode them into FLAC format and tag them properly.
