Saw this over in an arcticle at Digg.com. It's a picture of a hard drive 20 years ago that could store 1 GB, compared today's SD flash cards that can store 1 GB. Makes you really wonder how much (storage) technology has evolved over 20 years.

lol, I kinda expected 20 years ago to be a bit bigger actually.
I wish I could find my camera to take a pic of my micro SD cards. I have a 1 GB micro SD that's about 1/4 the size of a normal SD card. I can fit 3 of them side by side on my thumb (or could if I had one more)

Oh, it existed, but only large businesses had them, since such a drive back then would most likely cost in the tens of thousands.
I still remember the time when I thought 1 GB was huge, and that was ten years ago... o.o
