I saw this article on Digg.com. ;D Along with the recently released Wii Zapper, now the Wii has a full set of Wii weaponry. The question is, what games will actually use them?

The sad part is, all the anti-gaming critics in the U.S. would jump on this and use this as evidence that "games our teaching our children to kill."

rofl... There are things that do a much[/i] better job of that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amtgarden.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belegarthen.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Taekwondo_AllianceAnd those are just the ones I've been involved in. hmmm, I need a firearms based organization too. I can't make a link out of visiting my dad and grandpa on the firing range. Video games should be the least of their worries. I did get my crazy handgun skills from an arcade shooter addiction, but I couldn't do anything but point and shoot with a handgun till my dad showed me the basics. I love the fact that one time I participated in a qualifying test with my dad and some other officers and I got the 2nd best score on the scored handgun target. I sucked w/ the machine gun though (freaking huge one O.o the kind on a bipod). I'm told I did well for my first time on a full auto weapon. Long story short, I'd hate to fight myself esp. if I was armed. Video games have had a negligible impact on my skill. So far the Wii hasn't even had a game that really feels like armed combat anyway (haven't tried the zapper though). The tracking on the pointer isn't really like aiming in a shooter because of how it's done (maybe if you had the right screen size and stood at the right distance) and the fighting games have even less correlation between your motion and the character's action.
