Interstate 35W Bridge Collapses in Minneapolis, MN Aug 1, 2007 20:34:51 GMT -5

The I-35W bridge here in Minneapolis, MN just collapsed a little while ago, at 6:05 PM local time. It collapsed during rush hour, where there were could have been 100+ cars on the bridge when it collapsed. News articles on it here:

I was driving home from work when I heard on the radio that the I-35W bridge had collapsed. Because of the bridge collapse, the cellphone lines here in the Twin Cities are just packed; it's difficult to get through at certain times. Most of my family and friends have been accounted for. Hope everyone else's family and friends in MN are doing okay.

It is terrible, there was a school bus, UPS truck, and a bunch of other cars on the bridge when it went down.
