So many international sports events going on this year... Torino Winter Olympics, World Baseball Classic, and the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Germany may be able to win this year's World Cup, especially with home field advantage, but then again, soccer IS Brazil's best sport, so we'll have to wait and see. At least for this World Cup I won't have to wake up early in the morning to watch the matches (like the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup).

What a shocker... France beat Brazil 1-0. With the departure of Brazil from the World Cup, the remaining four countries are all from Europe: Germany, France, Italy, and Portugal. There are no countries from North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. It certainly is Europe's cup this year. Out of the four teams, I would probably put my money on Germany winning this year's World Cup, considering that they have home-team advantage.

Well, the final match (France-Italy) of the FIFA World Cup is now on and is tied 1-1 at the time of this post. Who do you think will win this match?
I am thinking that France will win this one.
