 Bill Gates Retires from Microsoft
« Thread Started on Jun 27, 2008, 2:04pm »

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and the man responsible for driving the many versions of DOS and Windows that were developed over the past thirty years, is spending his last day at Microsoft today. More info. in the linked DailyTech & Reuters article below:

DailyTech Article: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=12210
Reuters Article: http://uk.reuters.com/article/technology-media-telco-SP/idUKN2739495920080627

After today, Gates will be working full-time in philanthropy, for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. With the departure of Gates, it is a little worry some that no one will be looking over Steve Ballmer's shoulder, since Microsoft has been going downhill ever since Ballmer became CEO 2000.
